The Gran Premi Monster Energy de Catalunya de MotoGP™ will be making the engines roar at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya next 9, 10 and 11 June. On those days, the facilities of the Catalan racetrack will turn into a party for all those fans coming out to the Circuit to enjoy the show on and off the track.
With this aim in mind, the Circuit will organise a new party concept, the Moto Circuit Fest, which will bring music, joy and fun to the facilities of the Catalan track. As a novelty for this year, after the end of the Saturday practice sessions, Gate n1 will open for everyone (with or without the Grand Prix ticket), and there will be a Concert Zone at the Circuit to enjoy several activities. The Catalan band Hotel Cochambre (18.30h) will put rhythm and fun on the stage and provide for party night atmosphere in a unique space, only a few hours before the start of the races on the track. Spectators will also have the chance to enjoy the rhythm of the batucadas (17.40h), refresh themselves at the foam party (17h), dance to the beats of a DJ (from 16 to 21.30h) and enjoy a public barbecue (from 18.30h hours).
In addition to the Moto Circuit Fest on Saturday, music and Catalan traditions will be present in the public areas throughout the weekend, which will be livened up by the rhythm of percussion with batucadas, music offered by DJs and the Grallas (shawn-like instrument) that will be accompanying the Castells (human towers) that will be built on Sunday. One of them will be additionally made under the motto KISS Barcelona-Keep it Shiny & Sustainable in order to promote sustainable initiatives. As regards the batucadas, the groups in charge will be Tronats del Tabal (Rubí), Tukantú (Barcelona), Tabaluencs (Palau de Plegamans), No M’atabalis (Sant Feliu de Codines) and X-Kajones (Badalona). There will also be shows performed by Diables y la bestia (devils and the beast), with the participation of the Colles (groups) of devils from Montmeló, Mollet del Vallès and Parets.
Fans will also be able to feel as protagonists of the Grand Prix, as there will be an exclusive zone for them prepared with a podium to take pictures, a VR simulator, where they will be able to make a fast lap and feel the speed of the Circuit and a G-force simulator. There will also be an InstaVideo to record those pictures and send them later to the protagonists. In the same area, and with the aim of clearly committing to electric power, there will be the Green Circuit with electric scooters and an instructor, who will direct the activity, in order to promote the use of clean energy.
The youngest will also have their own space at the Kid’s Zones and there will be a unique space prepared for them to play and enjoy with a children’s podium recreating the three steps of the champions, inflatable games, different leisure proposals and an exclusive care-services with monitors.
As regards the Circuit Members, they will have a special guest in the Pelouse Privilege area, where the magician Lini will offer a fun and educational magic show promoting participation and the game of illusion and surprises.
The intention is to have everybody go back home with the feeling of having lived the best experience both on the grandstands, supporting their idols, and around them.
